The property is spacious and the roof terrace is a bonus.

There needs to be a large sign on the property saying Quilon Beach Inn so it’s easy to find.
It should be stressed how isolated the property is. You either need transport or you have to bring all your food for the time spent there.
Also it’s incorrect to say it’s like a private beach.
There is a locked gate from the property onto a small patch of sand and then loads of rocks down to the sea. It is accessible to everyone including the village dogs.
I don’t like giving negative reviews.
The property has great potential. Feels like it needs a bit of TLC from the owner.

Our highlight was going up the lighthouse at Kollam Beach.
Our highlight was going up the lighthouse at Kollam Beach. A great outlook.
On the whole we didn't find too much to do in the Kollam. The park wasn't that great and the beach wasn't where we'd like to swim.
We enjoyed walking around some of the side streets off the busy roads.
Appu and his family were extremely hospitable. We were greeted by Appu's mother and aunty made us feel right at home from the get go - something we needed after 2 weeks on the road :)
The cabin is well built and does the job. Appu's done a great job making it comfortable.
Appu even helped us book a canoe ride in the backwaters to catch sun-rise from Asthamudi Lake.
The location is easy to find and your car can reach there comfortably - pointing this out as it can get a bit tricky on Munroe Island.
The hotel is located on the lake, so is very peaceful. The staff were very helpful in organising cars and activities for us during our stay in Kollam. The bar and restaurant had many food and drink options, which were delicious, and the swimming pool, table tennis and pool table gave us plenty of things to do during our stay. The rooms are very nice and spacious, with comfortable beds.
After we booked a room via booking.com the hotel wrote to us that they (!) cancelled our booking. We later found out that they had done that only to increase the price of the same room by double the amount they had originally asked for. - When confronted with this (when we turned up at the reception desk) they had neither an apology nor an explanation.
The homestay is one of the best in this location. The owner is so friendly in nature, kind of family member. He took care of us right from the arrival till departure. A healthy breakfast which includes in the overall cost. I personally say spending 100 or more is more better than choosing the homestay like this.
"I had a truly enjoyable and peaceful stay at the hotel. The staff was exceptionally polite and cooperative throughout my visit. The hotel also boasts a wonderful restaurant that I thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, it was a fantastic experience."
I had a wonderful experience at the Munroe Heritage Inn. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff(Owner) was amazing. They all go above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. And You will get esay accessible to Ashtamudi Lake.
All the staff be it the restaurant or housekeeping or front office were very polite and helpfull special mention must be made of Mr Naveen. Food in the restaurant was very good. The view from the superior lake view room was outstanding.
I wanted a backwater trip to Munroe island which they organised for us and cooked us chapatis and Dahl which was great. He even was able to recharge our Sims. The property and location were great by the lake.
Nice, friendly staff and very professional. Everything was held clean, like the lobby, pool etc.
The buffet was very good and huge.
The beach was just a minute away. Of course a lovely view also.
Room has almost all facilities. Ac, heating kettle, coffee, tea, sugar, milk powder, tv everything there and it's a new residency and the staffs were also good. And its centre of Kollam.
Comfort stay at reasonable price. Food is good. Roof top bar is bit expensive but has a good cinematic ambience and feel. Room service is prompt. Beach is just walkable distance.
Lovely hotel near the beach and fort. Great rooftop bar and restaurant, perfect place to watch sunset! Staff were friendly and helped with all questions. Would recomend :)
A cute resort with outstanding hospitality ... It was an excellent place near the beach.Rooms were well maintained.Highly recommended, worth the money...
